Raxco Software's PerfectDisk Tops Two Categories in Windows IT Pro 2005 Readers' Choice Awards - Users Select PerfectDisk v7.0 as Best Defragmentation Utility and PerfectDisk for Exchange as Leading Storage Management Tool

Raxco Software's PerfectDisk® today added two awards from the Windows IT Pro 2005 Readers' Choice Awards to its growing list of accolades from the software industry's leading publications. PerfectDisk v7.0 took top honors as the leading Defragmentation Utility while PerfectDisk for Exchange was named the best Storage Management Tool. “The Windows IT Pro Readers' Choice Awards are highly coveted in the IT industry because our readers, who are the buyers and users of these products, are the ones who choose the winners,” said Kim Paulsen, group publisher of Penton Media's Windows IT Pro Group. “These awards are the ultimate acclamation an IT company can earn from its peers in the IT community.” Readers were asked to vote on their product preferences in 12 technology categories with 83 sub-categories. More than 1,700 readers chose the best among more than 750 products and services in an online poll held earlier this year between April 4 and May 2. “Windows IT Pro readers are the most knowledgeable people in the market with regard to the best values in technology products and services,” Paulsen continued. “We've done extensive research among our readers, and know that they are the ones who make the buying decisions on behalf of their organizations. The Windows IT Pro Readers' Choice Awards give IT professionals the opportunity to voice their opinions and give the leading technology companies the recognition they deserve.” “The Readers' Choice Award is a barometer of PerfectDisk's success in the Windows market,” said Robert Nolan, president and CEO of Raxco Software. “These two awards highlight the importance of PerfectDisk's key differentiators - free space consolidation and complete single pass defragmentation. The overwhelming response from users is the ultimate validation of PerfectDisk. By consistently listening to their feedback we continue to break new ground.”
