FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – MILTON KEYNES, UK 10 October 2005 – MBR IT Solutions Ltd is pleased to announce that it has become an accredited Microsoft Small Business Specialist.  It is the first custom (“bespoke”) software developer to obtain this distinction in the Milton Keynes area.

To obtain the Microsoft Small Business Specialist accreditation, MBR had to demonstrate to Microsoft, and to an independent body, that its staff have skills to understand the particular IT needs of smaller business.  For the purposes of this accreditation, Microsoft considers the smaller business to be one with fewer than 50 employees.

At the time of writing, there are only around 60 Microsoft Small Business Specialists in the UK.  Of the few in Milton Keynes and its environs, only MBR specialises in delivering custom (“bespoke”) software solutions. 

The aspects tested were not purely technical – a large component of the testing for the accreditation is given over to understanding the commercial nature of the smaller business.
